I am a current PhD Student at the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at The University of Manchester working on RHINO (Remote HI eNvironment Observer), a tool to probe the Cosmic Dark Ages and the Epoch of Reionisation.

    Bringing science to the masses and making it accessible is incredibly important for creating new scientists and also helping everyone understand a little bit more about how our universe works.

    Before starting my PhD journey, I worked in Science Communication and Education at Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre as an Explainer. Here, I would work with members of the public to try and explain some of the science we do at the Observatory and around the world. I feel very strongly about helping others gain more understanding with STEAM subjects, encouraging everyone to get involved and I am always very happy to partipate in science outreach.

    Other Passions

    As well as my love for all things in the radio part of the spectrum, things in the optical part of the spectrum are also incredibly nice to look at. I am also a keen photographer and videographer. Below are some examples of my work:
